Try new light and dark themes

Light and dark themes are now on Chromebooks! Light theme keeps things bright and airy, while dark theme can be helpful in low light. You can choose to keep your laptop on one theme all the time, or choose “auto” to have your Chromebook automatically transition from light to dark when day turns to night.

Personalize your Chromebook

Introducing one place to customize the look and feel of your laptop. On the Wallpaper & style app you can choose from dozens of unique wallpapers and screensavers, or use your own favorite pictures from Google Photos. Plus, choose whether you want your desktop in the new light or dark theme.

Annotate and edit PDFs

Now you can edit PDFs in Chromebook’s built-in Gallery app. Just open your PDF file, and you’ll have the option to fill out forms, highlight text, and add text annotations. And with free hand annotation you can add your signature to a document, then easily share the PDF through the app.
